A note from Meghan:

Dear Hope After Loss Community

After two years with Hope After Loss, it is with a mix of a sense of accomplishment and sadness that I share with you my time as Program Director is nearing its end.

My heart is filled with the stories of your babies- the ones you have lost as bereaved parents, the ones you have cared for as medical providers and the ones you know as friends and family.  I will carry their names and stories with me as I re-enter the midwifery world in a larger capacity.  I hope to bring more compassionate care to those experiencing loss, on a day to day basis while working in direct patient care.  I also intend to do more education in the medical and nursing community to ensure that the next generation of providers have a comfort and sensitivity to those who have experienced the loss of a baby.

I want to thank everyone for the opportunity to be part of such a kind community. As they say, this is a club no one wants to be a part of, but it is filled with the warmest, most supportive people.
