A Holiday tradition cherished by the Hope After Loss Community!
The Francis Family has been honoring the memory of their son by hosting The Red Hat Event for the last 9 years. Nicholas Francis was born still just weeks before his due date and was named after St. Nicholas since his birthday was around the Christmas holiday. He was fittingly dressed in a red Santa hat that was originally knit with love for his older brother, Gavin. The Francis Family had the idea to start the Red Hat Event as a way to spread love in the spirit of Nicholas and connect with others in the pregnancy and infant loss community. The event has grown each year and has become a tradition for many families.
There will be photos with Santa and options to purchase gifts and holiday items from merchants, such as Tracy Gingras from Touchstone Crystal, a Swarovski Company and artist Oli Vllahu Pinunsky, (who will be donating proceeds to Hope After Loss) as well as the opportunity to participate in the Red Hat raffle, which includes some amazing items, such as: Dewalt Jobsite Bluetooth Radio (with charger), Dewalt Toughsystem 2.0 (includes 2 drawer units, dolly platform & worktop), and a Dewalt Cordless Pruner. There will also be fun activities for the kids such as a “Reindeer Food” station.

Sam Chinigo will be taking photos of families with Santa, Chris Bernardo, will also be capturing the day on video and there will be festive music.
AND... the Francis Family has arranged for a A BOOK SIGNED BY SANTA HIMSELF that he can give to your family during your photo session! Signed books can also be mailed to you or donated to a CT hospital in memory of a special baby.
